1. General Information

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the website elixir-jewelry.com, operated by Elixir Jewelry, an independent artisan jewelry studio based in Slovakia.

By placing an order through this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Products & Craftsmanship

All jewelry offered by Elixir Jewelry is handcrafted using traditional goldsmith techniques. Each piece is made individually, which means slight variations in color, texture, or detail are a natural and valued part of the process.

Some pieces feature true vitreous enamel, a traditional fired-glass technique that requires multiple firings and careful manual work.

3. Custom & Made-to-Order Jewelry

Custom and made-to-order jewelry is created specifically for you based on individual specifications.

• Production begins after payment is received

• Production time varies depending on complexity and materials

• Once production has started, custom orders cannot be cancelled or returned

By placing a custom order, you confirm that you have reviewed and approved all agreed details.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in EUR, unless stated otherwise.

Payments are securely processed through the available payment methods on the website. Elixir Jewelry reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Elixir Jewelry ships worldwide.

• EU orders: shipped from Slovakia

• Non-EU orders: may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination and customs procedures. Elixir Jewelry is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs authorities.

6. Customs & Import Duties (Non-EU Orders)

For orders shipped outside the European Union:

• Customs duties, VAT, or import taxes are not included in the product price

• These charges are the responsibility of the customer

• Elixir Jewelry cannot predict or control customs fees

Refusal to pay customs charges does not constitute a valid reason for a refund.

7. Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Ready-made jewelry (EU customers):

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn, unused, and returned in its original condition.

Custom & made-to-order jewelry:

Due to their personalized nature, custom pieces are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless faulty.

8. Care & Responsibility

Jewelry should be worn and stored with care.

Damage caused by improper handling, accidents, exposure to chemicals, or normal wear is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Care instructions provided with the jewelry should be followed.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, texts, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Elixir Jewelry and may not be used or reproduced without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Elixir Jewelry shall not be liable for indirect damages, delays, or losses resulting from the use of this website or purchased products beyond their intended use.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Slovakia. Any disputes shall be resolved under Slovak jurisdiction.
