Elixír Jewelry is designed to last for years of wear. However, proper care will help it retain its character, finish, and details. Metal is a living material — it reacts to time, environment, and how it is worn. Some changes are natural, while others can be easily influenced.
Everyday wear
Jewelry is intended to be worn, but it is better to put it away when doing physical work, sports or sleeping. This will prevent unnecessary damage and excessive wear of the surface. Stained glass enamel is resistant to common chemicals, varnishes, deodorants and does not degrade even under UV radiation. It is color-fast and will last for centuries if you treat the jewelry responsibly.
Water and environment
Short-term contact with water will not harm the jewelry, but prolonged moisture can affect the appearance of the metal over time. We recommend taking off your jewelry before showering, swimming or visiting the sauna. Enamel is not affected by water, but you should be especially careful with opals. Amber, turquoise and pearls are also sensitive to sea water and chemicals.
Storage and protection
When you're not wearing your jewelry, store it in a dry place, ideally separate from other pieces. A simple pouch or box will protect it from scratches.
Cleaning
